The use of Youtube as a guitar teacher free online
The Internet is a truly wonderful resource. It is often said, but the fact remains too, that young people today do not know how lucky to have easier access to knowledge about the world of Internet.
I started playing in the decade 1970 with the famous Bert Weedon "Play in a Day" book. In those days I could not afford guitar lessons, so you might see guitars closely at every opportunity.
Learning to play guitar today has been transformed by technology. There are many excellent teaching guitar DVDs that can play over and over again, unlike a face-off guitar lesson. And the Internet provides an ideal platform for presenting tutorials guitar.
There are plenty of sites teaching the guitar, but my favorite place for private guitar lessons is Youtube. You can find instructional videos on everything from the choice of guitars to make your own guitar power. There are some excellent videos for all learning levels, from complete beginner to advanced.
Learn new licks, techniques Youtube songs and has become one of my favorite pastimes. If the weather is bad, then it is usually me learn a new song or two from Youtube. I can say I certainly learned more from the Internet in the last five years I've learned from books and watching other guitarists in the previous twenty years.
Another thing to remember is that the system is interactive. When I see a video like I always do one of my favorites, and often drop the artist a note to say thanks. In addition, I usually ask the presenter a question or two and always return with a positive response. Youtube is a bit like having any number of consultants are always personal guitar ready to answer your questions.
I can not help but feel a little envious of the young people who are beginning to know today. I like to fantasize that if I had been learning to play with all these great resources, who knows, could have become the next Eric Clapton.
